AHSOKA

Projects

On my freelance stint with Hybride Ubisoft for the Ahsoka project, I dove into a galaxy far, far away to breathe life into two unique characters—the Howler and a quirky droid. My mission was to strike the perfect balance: making them feel right at home in the Star Wars realm, yet distinctive enough to leave their mark. It was a blast animating these two, and I'm proud of adding flavor to Ahsoka's adventure!

JOHN WICK 4

At RodeoFX, I took on the adrenaline-pumping car chase animation in John Wick 4 around the Arc de Triomphe. It was a wild ride! I was responsible for blending the animation seamlessly with live-action VFX, hitting every mark to ensure the physics of the high-speed chase matched perfectly with the real-world props. Seeing one of my intense, white-knuckle shots featured in the film's trailer was an incredibly rewarding moment. What a ride, indeed!

THE CREATOR

At Crafty Apes VFX, I had a blast working on 'The Creator.' My role involved the unique task of seamlessly blending 3D prosthetics with the main actor's limbs, ensuring a perfect match. It was a fun and creatively fulfilling challenge, and I'm proud of how it contributed to the project as a whole!

FANTASTIC BEAST

At RodeoFX, I had the incredible opportunity to work on 'Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,' where I was responsible for animating the Diricawl. One of my shots made it into the movie's trailer—a stroke of luck that left me beaming. Additionally, I also had the chance to lend my animation skills to 'Hogwarts Legacy,' where once again, animating the Diricrawl allowed me to dive deeper into the magical world of Harry Potter.

THE SANDMAN

At RodeoFX, I had the incredible opportunity to work on 'The Sandman,' where I animated Gregory's flying scenes and his poignant death. It was a creatively fulfilling experience, as I proposed portraying Gregory's passing as a peaceful transition, like he was still playing, rather than suffering. This decision aimed to foster a deep emotional connection with the audience, and to my surprise, I heard that it moved some to tears.

Being a part of 'Hogwarts Legacy' was more than a job—it was an exceptional journey. As one of the first animators aboard this magical project, I bore significant responsibilities from inception to release. I took charge of crafting the cinematics from initial concept to final implementation. Plus, I had the opportunity to roll up my sleeves and delve into bug fixing toward the project's conclusion. Witnessing 'Hogwarts Legacy' emerge as the best game of 2023 and soar with over 22 million copies sold is a source of immense pride.

HOGWARTS LEGACY
MINECRAFT

Contributing to Minecraft Legends was a truly memorable experience. It was an honor to work alongside some of the most talented animators in the world on a project tied to such a renowned game. This opportunity served as a pivotal learning experience in my animation journey, providing valuable lessons and insights while being part of a team creating content for one of the most famous games in the world.

THE CALL of the WILD

Taking on Call of the Wild at MPC marked a significant milestone in my career, representing my first major foray into the movie industry. It was a thrilling experience, especially given my admiration for director Chris Sanders. This project was not only a chance to contribute to a film I held in high esteem, but also an opportunity to deepen my understanding of creature animations. Bringing the main character, Buck, to life and navigating through challenging shots were particularly rewarding aspects of this journey.
